Google has released NanoBanana 2 Lite, an image-generation model that produces results in under four seconds at a starting price of $0.034 per 1,000 images.
The company says quality now exceeds the original NanoBanana despite the lighter, faster tier — an unusual combination for a model explicitly positioned as the cheaper option.
