The Government of Alberta announced on July 6 that it is using Claude to identify and remediate cybersecurity vulnerabilities across its government systems.
Government adoption of frontier models for defensive security work has been rising through 2026, as public-sector IT teams look to AI to keep pace with vulnerability discovery at a scale manual audits struggle to match.
